Simple kitchen herbs - Amsterdam Netherlands April 21-24
Join us in Amsterdam for 4 days of learning about the medicinal and nutritional power of simple kitchen herbs and ingredients while engaging with herbal practitioners, food artisans, and chefs in one of the great cities of the world.
The program:
We will meet for half-day workshops at our home base commercial kitchen on the banks of the Amsterdam canal. Judith will introduce the group to herbs or ingredients that are easy to access with many likely already in your kitchen pantry and teach the group how to make teas, tinctures, and foods incorporating the herbs and ingredients.
Some areas of focus will be skin care, digestion, menopause, and first aid
The group will make and test their own
We will make short trips to meet local food designers and artists curated by Wieteke and experience and taste their work with plants, herbs, and flowers.
For example, we will visit a local cheesemaker who uses herbs and flowers to make some of the tastiest cheeses you will ever encounter. We will visit a Korean chef who uses herbs to make healing soups that we will learn how to make and get to enjoy while we are there.
Throughout the program, times will be set aside for attendees to experience a 1:1 flower essence session with Judith
Each day will begin with the option to meet Judith and Wietke for breakfast and enjoy the local area.
